Amy is an Upstate South Carolina native. She grew up in Travelers Rest, SC and later went on to obtain her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Furman University in 2007. From there, she traveled to Raleigh, NC to get her Master of Accountancy from North Carolina State University (2008) before landing in Charlotte, NC to begin her exhilarating tax career. In 2021, she moved back home to the Upstate and settled in Spartanburg, SC where she intends to stay for a long, LONG, time.

Amy has over 15 years of tax experience specializing in Partnerships, S-Corporations, Trusts, and high net-worth individuals. Dealership tax and accounting will always be near and dear to her heart as she spent nearly 14 years with the tax department for a large, privately held dealership group in Charlotte.

Amy is a licensed CPA in North Carolina (since 2011) as well as South Carolina (2023). She is a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, North Carolina Association of CPAs, and South Carolina Association of CPAs.

Amy is married and has three rambunctious sons. When she’s not running her business or running after her boys, she is a “serial” hobbyist; from knitting to hip hop dance classes and everything in between. Her current obsessions include baking, reading, and running.
